nging this out much, so the battery hungry dual core cpu won't matter. The 15.4" screen is big enough and displays great photos and movies. You need to upgrade to at least 2gb to run Vista. Fast enough for basic computing work, definitely not for gaming.

Fast enough for basic computing work, definitely not for gaming. The Vaio looks clean and has a good design. This basic model is not quite up there with Apple's designs but their other models are comparable to Apple's, albeit more expensive.
