I was at the iPhone Launch and it was a mess!

Just came back from the launch. Went down to the iPhone launch at Singtel Comcentre with my reservation letter at Midnight. There was a party and a countdown, even fireworks! There was like over a thousand people queueing and I was last in line! Its gonna take a few hours to clear the queue. Decided to go home and book another time slot. Quite a lot of people were frustrated with Singtel. Why make customers reserve the phones and still have to queue.

JVC CD PORTABLE SYSTEM (MADE FOR IPOD) RD-HA3B. The retail price is SGD$499 but I got it cheap and brand new for SGD$149!

Not really portable cos its big and heavy. 7.5kg heavy. It also requires 10 'D' batteries, so you might want to look for a power socket or you gonna waste a lot of money on batts.

On the upside, the bass and strong and sound quality is good. "Made for the iPod" means that you can control song selection and volume of your ipod using the supplied remote control once the ipod is connected to the provided USB cable/Dock cable.

The provided dock is just a piece of plastic to prevent your ipod from moving around. Would have preferred that it was integrated into the system itself, there is no lack of space.
