Apple Imac 17" LCD defects, dead colourful lines!

I have had a couple of iMacs with LCDs that gets defective after the 1st year warranty is over. Apple is ignoring the hardware quality problem. Go to this online petition to get Apple to do something-> http://www.petitiononline.com/maclines/petition.html

Iphone cheat on Ebay

I ordered an iphone for $525 from an ebay seller (jose32775) but the seller disappeared after payment. A number of buyers fell victim to this scam.

The seller built up his ratings and reputation selling cheap bags for a few months before starting this scam. Paypal guaranteed $200 only and return that to me.

As I paid using a credit card, I submitted a chargeback application to get back the balance. My bank returned me the money first while the case is being investigated. Case is still pending. The seller account has been terminated.

Lesson learnt: When buying something from Ebay, make sure that Paypal covers the full cost of the item. If not, clear out the cash your paypal account and pay using credit card. There is no limit to the chargeback you can claim from your bank.
